The White-browed Robin-Chat used to be known as Heuglin's Robin. To me, it is one of the most beautiful of the Robins. It can be quite shy and is often hard to see in the areas of thick bush where it tends to live.

This Robin is quite widespread and is found in most countries of sub-Saharan Africa. In South Africa it can be found from northern KwaZulu-Natal through to the eastern portions of Mpumalanga and Limpopo. It likes areas with lots of cover but can be found in riverine forest, woodland, bushveld and sometimes parks and gardens.

The White-browed Robin-Chat feeds on the ground where it looks for insects, spiders and centipedes.

The pair makes there nest in a secluded hollow. 2 to 3 eggs are laid.
