The Wildebeest's Review of Caravan and Outdoor Life - Issue 646
The start of 2016 brings with it the January issue of Caravan and Outdoor monthly. I like the January editions, which normally come out in December, as it gives me the chance to plan all sorts of trips for year, most of which I will never do. Do you have that problem?
There is a bit of an emphasis on cars on the cover with mentions of new models of the Ford Ranger, Mercedes-Benz Vito and the Mazda BT-50. The latter would be my personal choice. I feel that Mazda bakkies are very underrated.
The first article has an in-depth look at Bosveld Oase near Brits in the North West. This new resort definitely has the potential to become a family favourite. Lots of space for the kids to run around and an enticing looking swimming pool. Plenty of information of other resorts in the Brits area is provided.
Camping at Groenriviersmond, in the Namaqua National Park, looks interesting. This rugged coastline is a great place to escape from the city. It is, however, very rustic and probably not to everyone’s taste. It does warn the reader that they need to be totally self-sufficient.
